WHS Classic Sitcom Scenes: The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

This unintentionally funny scene is from the episode, "Papa's Got a Brand New Excuse". WARNING: do not watch at work, as it is very hard to control laughter

HAHAHAHA!! Papa's Got a Brand New Excuse!! That's amazing.

"To hell with him!" is a classic, and is one he should have used as Ali or about his son in "Pursuit of Happyness"

HAHAHA!

I also like the zoom-in on the sculpture at the end as the credits roll. That shit is hilarious.

I first saw this in middle school, the night it originally aired. It was being advertized for a week as "A very special Fresh Prince to watch with the whole family" by a serious announcer with a quiet, hushed voice. I don't watch network TV anymore - do they still do that? It's always a recipe for unintentional comedy whenever they do that.

Do you guys think this episode is funnier than "Bullets Over Bel Air"? That's the one where Will takes a bullet for Carlton and then Carlton gets a gun.

Yes but barely. I seem to remember that was the season when Carlton had Carb Face. Another really funny almost forgotten episode was in the first or second season when Carlton took Speed and went into cardiac arrest at a school dance and was taken to the hospital. To my knowledge that one has never been repeated. I'll never forget the scene where Fresh Prince is the school hallway and someone runs up like "Will come quick your cousin is out of control!" and he runs into the gymnasium and Carlton is on a table doing the MC Hammer dance and collapses.
