Danger Mouse / Sparklehorse / David Lynch Collaboration
A new album by Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse featuring 100 pages of original photographs and artwork from David Lynch and vocals by a variety of artists including Iggy Pop, Frank Black and The Flaming Lips has been indefinitely shelved by label EMI for unspecified legal reasons (too many high profile stars, maybe??). However the album can be heard streamed on NPR's website now.
It makes no sense why NPR is able to stream the album for free but yet EMI cant release it officially. A spokesperson for Danger Mouse has said the album will be released with the book of photographs and a blank CD-R inside.
I'm not sure if this is one big publicity stunt or what but whatever who cares if you want to listen to it go HERE.
The Frank Black song "Angels' Harp" is really good btw.
The David Lynch songs are AMAZING.
